Shamu Dubh @2011 Michael H. Mara

This rustic Sgian Dubh features a 2 1/2" blade of 128 layer 15N20 and 1095 Damascus, in a random/birdseye pattern. The blade is a clip point, with the traditional tapered fuller and spine grooves, and 1/8" round choil, flat ground, hardened to HRC 58. The Shamu Dubh is 7-1/4” overall. The handle is antler with a hammered brass guard. It's named in honor of a valued customer, and also, because the lines of the knife suggest a whale breaching. No sheath at this time, but one can be made for an additional cost. $327 SOLD
