Lead time for custom orders is currently 6 to 8 weeks. This particular Sgian Dubh was made as a tribute to my Scottish Grandmother, Alice Victoria Melville, and the handle colors were made to match my Melville tartan.

The Phoenix Damascus Dagger               

The Phoenix Damascus Dagger @2008 Michael H. Mara

This custom knife features a 4" dagger point, convex ground blade of 256 layer 15N20 and 1095 Damascus, in a random/birdseye pattern, with dual 1/4" choils. The blade is hardened to HRC60. The knife is 8 3/8” overall. The Phoenix Dagger handle is Maple Burl with Amber slices at either end, accented with twisted Sterling silver wire. The guard and pommel plate are brass. All of the other fittings are Sterling silver, including the carved Phoenix, accented with a Garnet cabochon at his wingtips, also set in Sterling. $637 SOLD
