Forrester Sgian Dubh Knives @2011 Michael H. Mara

This set of three matching Sgian Dubhs have 3 1/2” dagger point, convex ground, birdseye pattern Damascus blades with traditional spine grooves, hardened to HRC 58. The Sgian Dubhs are 8 3/4” overall. The handles are Bog Oak, that I import from near Loch Ness in Scotland, with Malachite and Howlite inlaid checkered bands, to match the Forrester Hunting tartan, Ivory accents, and nickel silver fittings with Malachite, Onyx, and Howlite pommel stones, and vulcanized spacers. Includes hand tooled leather sheaths with Celtic knotwork, dyed to match the pommel stones. $2122 for the set. SOLD
